So...it's hard to find a good connection in Zimbabwe. Solution Centre (the Apple Dealer here) was kind enough to let us sit outside and surf on their faster connection...mmm...but concrete is hard after 2 hours. Not that we're addicts or anything...

Philadelphia Airport is officially Dead to Me.
On top of being probably the worst airport in terms of amenities, comfort and efficiency...I have not left on the same day as my flight was scheduled in 2 years. Due to fog.
Just thought I warn those of you who see it come up as an option...it's a nightmare waiting to happen. I am now starting a middle-of-the-night roadtrip to Pittsburgh.
Next flight to Philly is going to be a comfortable flight on Virgin America to JFK and then a comfortable train to Philly. It will be longer on paper...but the map is not the territory.

Here's a sight you don't see every day. My wife and I (Carrletta is in the Foreground) visited the Armendaris Ranch in New Mexico. My Uncle Tom (in Background) runs the ranch and gave us a little tour...including a visit to the Bat Caves. Every night, 3 - 5 million bats leave the cave...
Now in Uganda, I came to tour production companies and give a little talk with the Maisha Film Lab (Mira Nair's training facility). This is Musarait Kashmiri, who runs Maisha in Kampala. The training here is something I think many in the US wish they had access to.
